What He Wore

My husband looked so cute today that I forced him to let me take pictures.
Afterwards, he said that he could never have a blog because he would look the same every day, but with different ties.
As long as he looks like this, I'm fine with it!
Don Draper, eat your heart out.

Insert Pun Here

I couldn't think of a funny title today.
It's really windy.
I'm wearing my husband's belt.
My skirt is two sizes too big (per usual).
And it's Monday.
That's about it folks.

Lumberjill Has A Lazy Sunday

Yes, I'm going to continually refer to myself as Lumberjill when I wear this shirt.
It makes me chuckle.
Today was a beautiful day outside hence the shorts.
It's so weird that it's still February and I'm already wearing shorts.
But I'll take it.
Soon enough it will be 115 degrees here and we'll all want to die.
But today was gorgeous.
Lumberjill loved it.
Hehe.

Sleepy Saturday

Today I let the hubs take my outfit pictures for the first time ever.
And I magically look happier and skinnier.
He's hired!

Big Bottoms

It's becoming increasingly inconvenient to not have any bottoms that fit me properly.
But until I can get out of town and have my way with a Banana Republic Outlet (oh yeah...she's gonna get it good) I'll just continue trying to make it work.
For example, the skirt I'm wearing today is actually pinned to make it fit a lot tighter under this sweater.
Safety pins - my newest fashion must have.

This one's called...

This particular hairdo is called the “I didn’t get out of the shower until 8:00 and I’m supposed to be ready and driving to work at 8:30 so I don’t have time to do anything attractive” bun.
I paired it with an outfit called, “If they’re both floral it matches regardless of the fact that one is brown and the other is black”
These photos are called, "I didn't realize until later that the top of my head is cut off in all of these.  There's a bun up there, it's not exciting."
It’s my Monday people, this is as good as it gets.

Accidentally Patriotic

I didn't mean for this outfit to basically be a giant American flag.
Especially since it's President's Day today.
I meant it to be a copy of this cute outfit from one of my favorite blog girls Katie:
But if you want to salute me, that's fine too.

A Red Lip

I've decided that my new motto is if you have a red lip, it'll distract everyone from the rest of your face/body/clothes.
I tested it out last night.
I spent the majority of the day in leggings with crazy curly hair.
Until 6 when we decided to go get dinner and a movie.
I looked like a crazy person with my messy hair and giant sweater, but I figured if I added a bright red lip, no one would notice.
Did it work?

Fancy Pants

At first I felt a little overdressed for work in this outfit.
Then I went into the bathroom and realized my skirt was completely see through.
So I ran home and had to throw a slip on underneath.
That made me feel a little less fancy.

It was obviously pretty effing windy today.

Happy Valentine's Day

I figured since it was Valentine's Day yesterday I should dress festive.
Then I realized I only own two pieces of pink clothing.
And I had already worn one of them on here with my only neutral cardigan that works with it.
So I decided to wear it anyway and just pair it with a bunch of shit that doesn't match it.
Happy Valentine's Day!

It's Valentine's Day...I had to!

Poor Man's Sydney

I had a rough time putting together an outfit yesterday.
First of all, it was Monday. That’ll getcha every time.
Second, I was still a little fuzzy from the massive amounts of Nyquil I shoved into my system over the weekend.
Third, the majority of my skirts and pants are two sizes too large for me.
So after rejecting my fourth outfit disaster, I pulled up my Pinterest and just copied this little gem from the amazing Sydney.

My interpretation is definitely not as good as her, but at least I didn’t show up to work in my pjs which was my next option if this outfit didn’t work out.
