Taking the Time With JORD

The only thing I miss about our horrid commute when we were living in Virginia was the extra four hours a day I had to read. I read so many books and it was so nice to actually have the time to sit down and read. I'm an English major and a librarian's daughter, I love books; I have to!

Since we moved to Denver and my commute consists of a fifteen minute walk to my office every morning and we spend our weekends exploring, hiking, or trying out breweries, I've lost all my reading time.  Literally, my kindle keeps dying before I even get a chance to use it. I miss my books though and taking the time to just be quiet and enjoy a great story.

Lately, I've resolved to take more time to read. Even if it means rereading Harry Potter for the eight thousandth time (sorry not sorry). Once you actually take the time to sit down and crack open a book, you realize there really is nothing better than pouring a glass of wine, putting on some comfy pants, and snuggling up with the pups and a good book.

Speaking of time (this is a great segue guys, wait for it), JORD recently sent me this amazing watch to help me keep track of my time (can't spend all day reading Harry Potter, now can we?). I'm wearing the Ely in maple and think it's just absolutely cute.  I'm not usually a big watch girl, especially since the trend for the last couple years seems to be masculine, metal watches on girls. I have teeny tiny wrists and don't really like wearing heavy things on them. The Ely is super lightweight which is perfect and I love the feminine look of the maple. The best thing is that JORD has you measure your wrist before ordering so the watch fits you perfectly when it arrives; perfect for us teeny tiny wristed girls or guys.

Which JORD watch would you choose? I also love the Sully, Cora, and 94A for girls and the Dover, Pujols, and Delmar for the guys. Check out how I styled my JORD watch below...Harry Potter and a pug really are the best way to wear anything, don't you think?
