Blog Every Day in May - Things I'm Afraid Of

For Day 7 of the Blog Every Day in May Link Up, we are talking about things we're afraid of.  Which is kind of a downer.  So to start, here is a picture of my adorable dogs:

Okay, now to the depressing stuff.

I am afraid of, above all else, not doing things.  Of missing out on something.  Of regretting that I never did something.  Of not taking a job and realizing later on that was my dream job.  This is actually a really obnoxious things to be afraid of because it makes decision making ridiculous.  I am already filled with so much regret from past decisions that I have made that I'm unable to let go of and I'm really afraid that I'll make new decisions I'll end up regretting later.

Does that make sense?

I'm also afraid of the dark and cats and heights and bridges.

I'm a peach to be married to, let me tell you.

  1. I definitely understand the fear of making decisions that you might regret -- ahhh, that's a big thing for me, too! :)

    1. And it's such a hard thing to struggle with because you always second guess yourself or look backwards then you should be looking forwards! Ugh!

  2. Oh yes, this is so me. There are so many things I want to do and now I feel like I am old and won't get to do any of them. :( And then I get motivated to change that. And it is a vicious cycle. I want to see and do so much!!
